Hi, I’m Shaka Lee
I’ve been teaching women how to dance in heels for 7 years and I’ve helped hundreds of women transform their heels technique with my Signature Heels Drills Method.
Just with drilling the fundamental heels moves, I have seen massive improvements in all of my students whether it be in-person or online.
It wasn’t too long ago when I started my own heels dance journey, so I can remember exactly what it’s like to be in my students’ shoes.

FAQ
Q. What if I’ve never taken any heels classes?
This is the perfect place to begin your training. After completing the program, you will have a basic understanding of many moves that you will see in a beginner heels class.
Q. What if I don’t have any heels?
High-heeled shoes are not mandatory to begin learning this style of dance. Many of my students start off practicing these moves without heels to understand the correct postures. When you start wearing heels, I recommend going through the entire course again because your posture and balance point will have changed.
Q. Can I do this program if I don’t have a lot of space?
Absolutely. This program is designed for at-home use and with small spaces in mind. Most exercises you can do on the spot or within a small area. The floorwork section will take up the most space, but it’s easy to adapt to most rooms.
Q. How long will it take to get good?
The best practice is to go through the videos in this program until you are comfortable with all the moves, then start taking in-person classes. Then, combining weekly in-person heels classes with at-home practice once or twice a week will speed up your growth.
Q. Do I need previous dance experience to do this program?
No previous dance experience is required! This program is for absolute beginners.
Q. Do I have to be flexible to dance this style?
You can dance this style with your current level of flexibility. If you have limited mobility and range of motion, that can be improved over time. I highly suggest you check out my program, The Dancer’s Toolkit, to help with mobility, flexibility and strength.
